At a glance

Taskfav collects no personal data, requires no account, shows no ads, and shares nothing with third parties. You can use the app fully offline.

This page is a clear description of what we do not collect.

Information we collect

None.

Taskfav requires no information from you to function:

We do not ask for email, name, or phone number.
We do not request location, camera, or microphone access.
We do not run usage analytics or behavioral tracking.
We do not use cookies or similar trackers (this website is hosted on Vercel; standard hosting logs may briefly include your IP address, then are deleted on Vercel’s schedule).

Data stored on your device

To run the app, Taskfav keeps the following information only in your phone’s local storage:

Daily acts you have completed and their dates
Reflections (notes) you write and moods you select
Your language preference, reminder time, and selected categories
Your streak and badge progress
A random content seed generated per device (used to order content)

None of this is sent to our servers. When you reset your phone, delete the app, or use “Reset all data” inside the app, this information is permanently erased.

Third parties

Taskfav currently uses no third-party services. We do not connect to ad networks, analytics providers, identity providers, payment infrastructure, or cloud backup services.

If this changes in the future (for example, when in-app purchases or crash reporting are added), we will update this page in advance and clearly state which service is used and for what purpose.

This website

taskfav.com is hosted on Vercel. As part of standard infrastructure operations, Vercel briefly logs request information including: IP address, browser User-Agent, timestamp, and requested URL. Vercel uses these logs for security, abuse detection, and service health; the standard retention period is approximately 30 days, after which the logs are automatically deleted. These logs are never linked by us to any user identity or correlated with app usage. We run no cookies and no user-tracking analytics on this site.

Children

Taskfav is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from this age group (we do not collect personal data at all).

Deleting your data

Because the Taskfav app stores data only on your device, the only data that exists is on your phone. You can delete it all at any time:

Method 1 (recommended): In the app, go to Settings → Reset all data
Method 2: Uninstalling the app from your phone permanently erases all local data

We do not maintain server-side personal data, so there is no separate “account deletion” flow. If you would like to file a deletion request or receive confirmation, you can email support@taskfav.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Under EU GDPR (Articles 15-22) and Türkiye’s KVKK (Article 11), you have the following rights:

Right to information: Know what data is processed
Right of access: Obtain a copy of your data
Right to rectification: Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
Right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”): Request deletion
Right to restriction of processing: Limit how data is processed
Right to data portability: Move your data to another service
Right to object to automated decision-making: Object to profiling and automated decisions

Practical note: Because Taskfav collects no personal data, most of these rights are automatically satisfied by the app’s design. To exercise any right or file a request: support@taskfav.com.

Supervisory authority: in Türkiye, the Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK); in the EU, your country’s data protection authority.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, the “Effective date” at the top of this page will change. For meaningful changes, we will also notify you inside the app.
